The Workcell contains Six Belt Systems. Each System Consists of the Same Basic Components: Contact Wheel, Idler Pulley, and Tensioning Cylinder.
The CONTACT WHEEL Drives the Belt and Feels the Pressure from the Work Pieces During Operation.
The IDLER PULLEY Holds the Belt In Tenion and Tilts to Track the Belt.
The TENSIONING CYLINDER is Located Between the Contact Wheel and Idler Pulley. The Cylinder Extends to Apply Tension to the Belt and Retracts to Remove Tension from the Belt.
LIGHT FLOAT HEADS: Heads 1, 2, 4, & 5 (the Upper Two Heads on Each Side of the Workcell) Contain the Light-Float Feature.
GATE GRIND HEADS: Heads 3 and 6 are Gate Grind Heads, Which are Fixed and Do Not Float Like the Upper Heads. These Heads are Designed for Heavy Stock Removal.
LOAD DRAWER: The Load Drawer Allows the Operator to Supply the Robot with Work Pieces Without Having to Enter the Workcell. This Feature Keeps the Operator Away from the Machine's Moving Components to Prevent Injury.
